Photographer Danny Lyon is a native New Yorker. In the late sixties he rode the subway with his camera, snapping away, capturing day to day life in Brooklyn. For the first time his Underground 1966 photos are on exhibit at the Atlantic Ave/Barclay center subway station in Brooklyn. I happen to ride the NYC subway quite a bit and have caught myself studying the tired faces of New Yorkers and have come to the realization that there is no such thing as a dull subway ride. I LOVE these photos!
