Tanya Ling is someone you should know. Not only is she a talented illustrator, but she has also designed her own collections. Born in Calcutta, she attended St Martin’s school of art and then went on to work for designer Dorothee Bis and Christian Lacroix.
In 2003 British Vogue named Ling one of the most important trend-setters in Britain and The Observer Magazine announced her as their designer of the year.
In 2009 Ling was appointed the Creative Director of Veryta, a new RTW women’s luxury fashion brand founded by Filippo Binaghi and Stefano Pilati to support the Veryta Foundation and in 2011 over 50 of her drawings were acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
