Technology is constantly changing the way we do things…with the introduction of Apple Watches, Kindles, and the internet. Many things are now obsolete, but one thing that I hope will always be around are BOOKS, with dog-eared pages, illustrated covers and memories stored between each page. In an attempt to prepare for my impending move, I started the purging process. I ditched cratefuls of cds, and old lps, and I tried to pare down my book collection, but I just couldn’t…instead I dusted them off and allowed them to stay with me for a bit longer. I still have books I read in high school, that introduced me to magical worlds (Interview with a Vampire) and of course the bible of my teenaged years (Linda Goodman’s Sun signs) to my current day favorites (Tell the Wolves I’m Home). I just started a new shelf of books…the cherished-child hood stories that I read to my kids over and OVER again. I’m hoping to one day introduce them to my grandchildren.
